About

Pip White is a Cinematographer and Photographer. She attended the prestigious Central Saint Martins where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Design. Pip then went on to receive her Masters of Fine Arts at the American Film Institute where she was awarded the PIGOTT/ BAFTA Scholarship for Cinematography.

Prior to her time at AFI, Pip worked as a camera assistant and operator for nearly a decade, traveling across the world on both indie features and blockbuster franchises. Pip has developed her craft under the tutelage and mentorship of esteemed Cinematographers - BAFTA winner Rob Hardy BSC ASC ‘Ex Machina, Annihilation, Mission Impossible Fall Out’, BAFTA nominated Ben Davis BSC ‘Dr Strange, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri', Banshees of Insherin' and Oscar winner Philippe Rousselot AFC ASC ‘A River Runs Through It, Interview With The Vampire, Fantastic Beasts The Crimes of Grindelwald.’

Pip is a member of the LOCAL 600 and has been featured as a part of the BAFTA LA Newcomers Talent Programme. Over the past year Pip has lensed two feature films. Independent Sci-Fi Thriller ‘PARALLEL’ starring Danielle Deadwyler (Till, Station Eleven, Harder They Fall) and Aldis Hodge (The Invisible Man), directed by Kourosh Ahari. The Opioid Drama  ‘SPIDER AND JESSIE’ starring Mckenna Grace (Ghostbusters Afterlife), Dacre Montgomery (Stranger Things) and Jojo Regina (Where the Crawdad Sings) directed by Dan Kay and producers of films PIG and Passing.

Most recently Pip completed principal photography on ecology themed short 'SPIRIT OF PLACE' starring Oscar, BAFTA and Tony winning actor Mark Rylance, directed by close collaborator Jack Cooper Stimpson.

Pip splits her time between London and LA.
